Carrer Princesa, diciembre de 2007
Esta fotografía aparece publicada en el último número del CicloTimes, la revista electronica del Bicicleta Club de Catalunya.No es ni Amsterdam, ni Copenhage, ni Bruselas, ni Berlin. Es la calle Princesa de Barcelona. Esta calle tiene una particularidad: ha sido cerrada prácticamente al tráfico y, segun revelaba El Periódico de Catalunya a finales de 2006, en esa calle circulan más bicicletas que coches, motos y furgonetas sumadas. Eso era antes del Bicing, ahora debe ser aún mayor la diferencia.
Luego, alguien se dedició a pintar un carril bici en esa calle, imitando algunas calles del centro de Amsterdam que son exclusivamente para ciclistas y para el coche de algunos vecinos. Por supuesto, este carril bici no tiene reconocimiento oficial y ya debe haber sido limpiado, pero yo pregunto ¿va a esperar mucho más el Ajuntament para crear de una vez un carril bici en esa calle?
Ya iría siendo hora, la verdad.
